Description
David Bruce Chardonnay 2013
Light straw color with aromas of tangerine, lemon curd, stone fruits, white flower blossoms, and a hint of butterscotch. On the palate, there are flavors of white grapefruit, peach, and toasted pecans with balanced acidity and mineral notes.
Critical Acclaim
90 Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
Fermented and aged 12 months in barrel, the 2013 Chardonnay Russian River Valley Anniversary Selection is a straight-up gorgeous Chardonnay. Rich and unctuous, yet also lively and fresh, its light gold color is followed by classic notes of buttered stone fruits, toasted nuts, lemon and hints of minerality. It has bright acidity, plenty of fruit and a great finish. It’s impressive today, but I suspect it will keep for a decade or more.
