The colour is bright on a pale yellow with light green hues. The nose is intense and well-balanced with hints of fresh fruit or fruit in syrup such as white peach or pear, followed by flavors of ginger and hawthorns. The mouth is full and refreshing. The finish is long and silky. This is a full-flavoured and elegant white wine.

The 2020 Chteauneuf Du Pape Blanc is a tank aged blend of 40% Clairette, 30% Bourboulenc, and the remainder equal parts Roussanne and Grenache Blanc. Its vivid light gold hue is followed by a clean, pure bouquet of pear, crushed citrus, and white flowers. Nicely textured, medium-bodied, elegant, and finesse-driven on the palate, it has bright acidity and a clean, classy finish that keeps you coming back to the glass.

Mainly Bourboulenc and Clairette, with smaller amounts of Grenache Blanc and Roussanne, the 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc from Pere Caboche delivers a nose full of ripe pear and pineapple fruit. This tank-fermented effort is medium to full-bodied, plump and fleshy, then turns a bit chalky on the finish. Best after 2021.
