Description
The 2016 Bad Boy is a blend of 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and the remainder Merlot. It has a fragrant, quite floral bouquet this year with scents of black cherries, incense and a touch of vanilla pod. The palete is medium-bodied with firm tannin, fresh in the mouth with citrus line acidity, slightly granular in texture towards the finish that has good, Mdoc like structure.
93-94 Points James Suckling:
“Impressive depth of fruit and power to this wine with blackberry, blueberry and violet character. Full body, brilliant acidity and a firm and silky finish. Fantastic. Better than the 2015.” 4/17
