Description
Winemaker Notes:
Aged for 11 months in neutral French oak, the wine is garnet, getting slightly paler toward the rim. The nose exhibits red apples, dried leaves, and raspberries. The palate boasts rich fruit and is framed by soft tannins and balanced with acidity. Cola and strawberry preserves lead toward a finish highlighted by cocoa nibs, and caramel.
Wine Enthusiast
Light aromas of sage, wild strawberry, cranberry and wet river stone are subtle but expressive on the nose of this bottling. The palate is well integrated with flavors of tart cranberry, wild mint and earthy soil.
